It is located at No. 58, Yujinxiang Road (in close vicinity of Gongqing Square), sited in the core area of Yuhua Science Park, and abuts the famous IT industry bases of ZTE, Huawei Technologies, Shuntian R&D, Hisap, Zhongruanhuatong, Neusoft R&D, SWT, Yurun R&D. It covers more than 50 acres, with a building area up to 20,000 m2, and a 2-billions-RMB investment on the schoolhouse construction. The school is designed to run 6 grades and 36 classes. The campus is divided into three parts of teaching, sporting and living, with properly-laid integrated teaching buildings, an all-function indoor gym, a commodious and tidy student messhall, advance-equipped network classrooms, art rooms, music rooms, library, science laboratories, and so on. During the preparation and the development of the school construction, Luo Zhijun (president of Jiangsu province), Li Kanzhen (vice-mayor of Nanjing and the secretary of Yuhua District), Xu Chuande (the secretary of the city education bureau), Feng Jianqiang (Director General of the district education bureau) and other leaders make on-site inspections and instructions many times. The school opened on Sept. 3, 2007. It is developing rapidly and now it has altogether 26 classes and 70 teachers. Under the high Attention and warm care of all levels’ leaders, and under the support from the society and common effort of the whole school staffs, the school practices a green education concept of individual health (students, teachers, and school) and sustainable development, highlights three teaching features of English teaching, education research and scientific literacy, bends itself to cultivating excellent students with international sense, scientific literacy and innovation spirits, and advances to the famous-brand school with five features of high-level, new mechanism, famous teacher, featured courses, and excellent qualities.
